9/15/2018: I fly to Minneapolis and meet up with a friend with kayaks and drive up to Voyageurs National Park to kayak out to our campsite on Moxie Island for a night before driving out to Apostle Islands for another night of kayaking and camping.

Part 2 of our Washington trip where we day-hike the entire Enchantments loop and somehow leave one vehicle at the wrong trailhead.

6/16/2019: We spent a rainy day knocking out four quick short hikes within Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

3/15/2019: I took advantage of a perfectly clear forecast and drove up to Grand Teton National Park for the weekend to get a day of skiing in at Jackson Hole and a couple nights backpacking via ski touring, but that didn't exactly go according to plan!

1/19/2019: I decided to treat myself to a birthday getaway to Yosemite National Park to repeat a winter backpacking trip to Glacier Point that I had done two years prior. I proceed to camp in blizzard that dumped a foot of snow on me overnight.

11/3/2018: A 4.5-mile snowshoeing adventure to Lake Haiyaha in Rocky Mountain National Park the morning after they received about 5 inches of fresh snow.

6/1/2018: We set out into the backcountry of Cascade Canyon in Grand Teton National Park to backpack for one night. Unexpected weather made this a truly WILD backpacking trip in one of the most jaw-dropping mountain ranges in the country!

7/27/2019: We spend 1.5 days hustling through the Dolomites of Italy trying to see all the attractions, hit all the photo spots, and get some hiking in. And I successfully propose to my adventure partner while also capturing the moment.

Part 1 of our Washington trip where we backpack up to the Park Butte Lookout Tower, camp and explore in Mount Baker National Forest, and try to kayak with orcas after camping on San Juan Island.

4/27/2019: Kari and I take a quick weekend road trip to go see parts of the desert we had yet to explore.

2/23/2019: We spent the weekend in beautiful Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio and stayed in a cabin and did some camping at Crockett's Run.

11/8/2018: My buddy Tom flew out from Ohio and rather than just backpacking for a couple nights in the snowy Rocky Mountains, I decided to show him pretty much ALL of Utah and then some just over the course of a long weekend!

10/20/2018: My first trip exploring Washington State's 3 National Parks in 3 days.
